• Cashier

Job Responsibilities  :

• Manage all cash and cheque transactions within the branch.

• Maintain the petty cash float.

• Accept payments made by cash and cheques for leasing, loans, fixed deposits, and savings.

• Handle cash and cheque banking and related activities.

• Maintain daily accounts of transactions and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports.

• Maintain the Safe Key Register on a daily basis.

• Ensure the maintenance of office equipment and stationery.

• Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and courier documents.

• Prepare the fixed asset report for the branch.

• Coordinate with all other departments and employees as necessary.

Person Specifications :

• Completed G.C.E. O/L with 6 passes.

• Achieved 3 passes in G.C.E. A/L.

• Foundation and Intermediate Levels completed in AAT.

• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and customer service abilities.

• Proficient in computer skills, including the MS Office package.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cashiering and customer care.

• Previous experience as a banking trainee is a definite advantage.

✥ Handling cash transactions, keeping accurate financial records, and overseeing daily financial operations are typical responsibilities of the Junior Accounts Executive/Cashier position. Invoice processing, financial data verification, petty cash management, bank deposit handling, and monthly account reconciliation support are among the duties. Strong attention to detail, familiarity with fundamental accounting concepts, competence with MS Excel and accounting software, and outstanding communication abilities are required of the candidate. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, operate with little direction, and assist the accounting team with administrative and financial reporting duties.
