• Junior Accounts Executive Cum Cashier (Head Office)

Key Responsibilities  :

• Handling the cashier function and petty cash payments.

• Ensure that the cash collection in duly balance and proper banking of daily cash payments.

• Duly maintain allocated floats and daily reconciliations.

• Serve the customers without delays.

• Physical verification of cash on daily basis.

• Maintaining periodic transaction reports.

Key Requirements :

• Successfully completed G.C.E Advanced Level Examination.

• Should have a minimum 01 year of experience in a similar capacity. (Preferable in a Finance Company)

• Ability to work independently and effectively.

• Fair Communication skills in both English and Sinhala (Tamil speaking also encouraged to apply).

• Good Knowledge in MS Office (Specially Excel), IT Application & exposure to use accounting software will be an added advantage.

• E mail corresponding and interpersonal skills.

✥ Handling cash transactions, keeping accurate financial records, and overseeing daily financial operations are typical responsibilities of the Junior Accounts Executive/Cashier position. Invoice processing, financial data verification, petty cash management, bank deposit handling, and monthly account reconciliation support are among the duties. Strong attention to detail, familiarity with fundamental accounting concepts, competence with MS Excel and accounting software, and outstanding communication abilities are required of the candidate. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, operate with little direction, and assist the accounting team with administrative and financial reporting duties.
